Indledning

Denne opgave giver et indblik i fejlfinding af RIP og konvergerings tiderne for RIP.


Opgave

Netværket skal være konfigureret som i Configuration af netværk med RIP og i skal kunne se alle de andre gruppers netværk med show ip route kommandoen. Som vist her:

Hvor mange netværk fortæller jeres Router om?

Hvilke naboer modtager den information fra?

Opgave 2

I skal nu prøve at se hvor lang tid der går fra i fjerner et netværk til jeres naboer opdager det.
2 hold går sammen og det enehold trækker kabler ud, mens det andet hold tager tid indtil netværket fjernes fra Routing tabellen.

  • Det ene hold starter med at trække kablet på LAN siden af deres Router.

Hvor lang tid går der før netværket forsvinder fra den anden Router?

Sæt nu kablet i igen, og vent til netværket kommer op igen.

  • Det ene hold trækker nu WAN forbindelsen på deres router.
