Centos smartd disk monitoring daemon
smartd is a daemon monitoring that monitor the harddrives.
- SMART = Self-Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting Technology
If you have a problem on a harddrive it will be logged in /var/log/messages and reported in daily mail to root
