The objective of the assignment is to configure as many routing protocols as possible.
You company has bought 2 other smaller companies, and you task is now to configure and create convergence between the different Routing protocol domains.
Tasks
- Design a hirahical network addressing plan for this topology
- Connect all the devices(You decide the cable type)
- Assign IP addresses to all the network interfaces, and test neighbor connectivity
- Configure the routers with default best-practice configuration
- Enable password
- Banner
- Telnet
- Interface Descriptions
- Configure the different routing protocol domains(EIGRP, OSPFv2 & RIPv2)
- Configure RIPv2
- Configure EIGRP
- Tune the EIGRP timers
- Configure OSPFv2
- Change the reference bandwidth
- Tune the OSPF timers
- Configure static routes between the routing domains, remember to do summarization
- Configure a default static route on the OSPF router connected to the internet
- Redistribute this default route into OSPF
- Test connectivity between all end devices
