Installing operating systems on Dell PowerEdge 1750 servers.


Status

- FreeBSD was installed
- BIOS Revision A05 Download


Possibilities

- Able to install Fedora 10 / 11
- Not able to install Fedora 12 / 13 ... (kernel error)
- Not able to install Ubunto
- Windows Server 2003 needs too long (30 % in 3 days)
- Not able to install Windows Server 2008


Solution

- Upgrade BIOS to Revision A11 Download


Everything works!

- No kernel errors
- Able to install several operating systems (Fedora 12/13, Ubuntu ...)
