In Routing Technologies we will look at network topologies in enterprise size networks. Then we will look at major Routing protocols with focus on OSPF and BGP.
Subjects
- Learning and playing with Cisco command syntax
- Complex enterprise network models
Exercises
- A company has three sites each running OSPF
- Site HQ: 800 users in 20 physical networks.
- Site B1: 400 users in 15 physical networks.
- Site B2: 300 users in 10 physical networks.
- The three sites will be connected through MPLS using BGP
- Each site is connected to two different providers MPLS circuits.
- Site HQ: Provider A: 100 Mbps B: 50 Mbps
- Site B1: Provider A: 50 Mbps B: 25 Mbps
- Site B2: Provider A: 50 Mbps B: 25 Mbps
- Each site is connected to two different providers MPLS circuits.
- Design the network for maximum Route summariazation
- The company wants to use QoS later for IP telephony
